Last Jump is a small browser game at lastjump.mampa.games, made and run by Mampa Games (mampa.games). It has no accounts and no logins, shows no ads and does no tracking: no analytics, no cookies, no third-party scripts.
The game keeps a few values in your browser's local storage, on your device only:
If you join the leaderboard it also keeps: a random player id and a secret (the key that proves your runs are yours), your leaderboard name, a few tickets (the server's permission to rank your next runs) and runs waiting to be sent while you are offline. Clearing this site's data in your browser removes all of it.
Nothing leaves your device until you answer YES to "PUT YOUR RUNS ON THE LEADERBOARD?". Before that the game talks to the leaderboard server only to fetch the day's world (its seed, when the page opens, at midnight UTC and when you come back to the tab) and to show the leaderboard when you open it yourself, and those requests carry nothing about you.
Once you have joined, the game asks the leaderboard server (api.lastjump.mampa.games) for tickets, and at the end of each ranked run it sends:
The server replays the jump log to check the run, then shows your best run on each board with your name.
The server keeps no IP addresses in its data. It uses your IP address only in memory, for a few minutes, to limit how many requests one connection can make. The web server that serves the game's pages and the leaderboard keeps no access log; when a request fails, its error log may record the address, and those logs are deleted after 14 days.
Open LEADERBOARD and press DELETE MY RUNS (twice, to confirm). The server deletes your player, your name and all your runs, and your device forgets the player id, the secret and the tickets.
You can also write to hello@cronic.pt to ask for a deletion or about anything on this page.
